Chapter 3
Th e Destiny Roadmap FRameworK
Y ou know deep inside that it’s time to move on, whether it’s from a job that leaves you feeling broken, a soul-shattering relationship, or a dead-end town. You stay longer than is healthy, you look for reasons why it could work, and you ignore the numerous signs you’ve been given that it’s time to let go. You’re in the most painful part of The Void.
What’s usually happening at this point is a period of discernment, withdrawal, and sensitivity. It’s a period of mental suffering, as we’re usually wrestling with ourselves over whether to stay or go. It’s hard to feel confident in either choice since both have pros and cons associated with them; we exhaust the review from every angle. We shed more tears than we’d like to admit, but at some point, staying will become so uncomfortable that there is no choice but to push forward and release. You’ll be thrust further into the place you’re trying so hard to avoid, the emptiness and fear of the unknown.
Rather than feeling lost, you can put the steps in this book into action in your own life. You can begin to think of The Void as a blank chalkboard. This chalkboard is waiting for you to fill it with ideas, desires, and thoughts about where you were and where you’d like to be. It’s waiting for you to get in touch, even though fear is typically running the show. That’s where the steps come in.
Once you’ve made the decision to walk further into The Void, these are the essential elements you can practice that help you zero in and move past the resistance. These elements can help relieve the pressure and stress that usually ride along with fear in a sidecar.
These are the steps to learn how to co-create your Destiny Roadmap with the Universe and how to enjoy this time of exploration, discovery, and design in line with the plan in place for your life.
